What is a Reality Tour?
Reality Tour is a community-based drug prevention system designed as a single event to engage parents. Often held in the evening or weekend so parents WILL attend. Our system puts parent and child on the same page. Reality Tour® is UNLIKE scare tactics. Our dramatic scenes are PG and balanced with family coping skills to avoid experimentation. Reality Tour is delivered in 3 parts:
- The Consequences
- Narrated scenes of life & death choices
- Youth participant’s own photo morphed
- Appropriate for youth ages 10-17 with a parent
- The Coping Skills
- Recognize 1st signs of use
- 10 personal goals for drug prevention
- Refusal skills engagement
- The Interviews
- Law officer relates local trends
- Addict in recovery de-glamourizes use
Where can I register for Reality Tour?
You can register for Reality Tour by going to our locations page. Reality Tour is replicated in several states and in Canada. Locate the location nearest you, download the registration form and mail in the form with payment to the address listed on the location page.

Do I have to pre-register?
Yes, pre-registration is required, this helps volunteers prepare in advance. It costs $5 per person to attend. Download registration forms on our location page.
How long is Reality Tour?
Reality Tour runs approximately 2 ½ to 3 hours. Often held in the evenings or on weekends so parents can attend.
How do I know which date I’m attending?
Registration Coordinators for each location will confirm via phone call, email, and/or post card the date you have been assigned. Registrations are on a first come first serve basis. It is required on ALL registration forms to select a 2nd date choice as a backup. Should the tour be cancelled for any reason, attendees will be notified.
How old does my child have to be to attend?
Reality Tour is appropriate for children age 10 and up. Any child under the age of 10 will not be permitted to attend.
Do I have to attend with my child?
YES, parent(s) or legal guardians must attend with THEIR child.
Can I bring my friend’s child with me?
NO, parents cannot bring their friends children. Children must attend with THEIR parent or legal guardian.
